I have spent two nights at Modica Palace and I wish I stayed longer! The is a new, designer finished hotel and is managed by a dedicated, professional manager and helpful staff. Well done Massimo.

The hotel is situated in a side street, right behind the highway thus its location makes it ideal to explore, Modica, Ibla and other typical villages. I therefore recommend having a car (ample parking outside hotel) since the Hotel is not situated in the village core.

I spent two days there and I could not fault anything. Great airconditioned room with large terrace, vast swimming pool and jacuzzi in a green garden, classy modern interiors, internet access and courtesy books, great breakfast (and I mean it, the choice including handmade savoury and sweet ricotta cakes) and restaurant. And a warm service to boot. It is not in the old center, but there is a courtesy minibus. All in all a great stay to visit the wonders of Modica and Ragusa Ibla.

If you are sitting at home planning your wedding, and considering Modica in Sicily as your honeymoon, please won't be afraid of the unknown, as in this case the place is amazing, beautiful, peaceful, service is above great. Hotel Manager Massimo will treat you as a guest in his own house rest of the hotel staff will do the same, guaranteed. Me and my Wife stayed in this hotel for 10 days in August 2011 for our honeymoon, standards are great, it is clean and very modern but warm decoration. Modica town is beautiful full of history and friendly people, try chocolate it's best in Italy. What else can we say, Hotel is best that I've seen for a long time, and what makes it so great is the people that work in it, I will definitely come back, and I would recommend it to You.

The Palace Hotel was fantastic. Extremely clean, helpful, friendly staff (well maybe not so much the bar man, but especially Massimo), hearty breakfast and lovely pool. It was excellent value for money and easy to access, great place to base yourself for seeing the Modia area, we visited Noto, Ragusa and Sirracuse from here. It was lovely to return to air-conditioned rooms, the pool and free wifi.
The only criticism is that the rooms are not that large, and the bed frame is very square, with sharp corners, we had a coule of bruises on shins to show for our visit - minor complaint only and the bed was perfectly fit for purpose, very comfortable. This place offers great value for money too.
