It is hard to find the main entrance coming from the car park. Maybe traversing the extensive and multilevel outdoor areas (to get from from car park to reception and from there to the rooms) might be pleasant in daylight and with the sun shining - but not so in the cold and rain and at night. Restaurant was mediocre to poor - we tried it twice in hopes they had just had an off night. We would have liked to avoid the drive into Martina Franca at night so that all of us could enjoy wine with dinner. The bar was an uninviting section of the hallway with a very limited selection. Light fittings in the restaurant could not be plugged in - someone must have ordered ones destined for another country. The flush mechanism in our toilet came apart with each use. It felt like they hadn't quite pulled off an ambitious design.

Stayed 2 nights in August 2010 for an average of 120€/night breakfast included. Very nice modern hotel ideally located near Martina Franca in the heart of the Trulli valley. Standard rooms are clean and spacious with a queen bed, a small desk area, 3 large closets, a rather small bathroom with shower. Bar fridge & sat tv. Sat wifi on request 6€/h. Facilities include a bar, a very nice restaurant with local specialties, a large swimming pool, a fitness room with Technogym gear, and a spa center. The staff are extremely helpful and speak good English.

We were so disappointed with this hotel. We booked it because we were going to be visiting family in the area. It rates itself as a 4-star hotel and restaurant and from our experience it didn't live up to a 4-star rating.
The land is impressive. There is lots of room and we were appreciative of that for our 7-year old daughter. The hotel itself was desserted. The indoor pool wasn't open (it was empty) and even if it had been there was a 10 Euro per person per day charge to use it. The outdoor pool wasn't heated and while our daughter braved the cold water, we listened to workers mowing the lawn around us.
The restaurant was complete disappointment. We spent almost $75CAD on three plates of pasta, one beer and two bottles of water. The food was only okay. The only plus side was that the server was polite and friendly and efficient. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful, but the coffee came from a machine and was terrible. We asked the server to make us a capuccino and he did that.
The hotel charged 3 Euro for one hour of internet, which didn't work in our room because the walls are so thick. We ended up sitting on the floor just inside our open door in order to get a signal.
There was black mould on the skylight in the bathroom and the room smelled very musty especially when the air conditioner was on.
We received no assistance in terms of tourism in the general area and really just found this property to be such a disappointment.

We spent two nights at this hotel whilst touring around Puglia. It is a decent base for exploring the area if you have a car, however I would recommend staying in one of the hill top towns themselves to soak up more of the atmosphere. The rooms were clean but basic and a bit dull, whilst the breakfast was again ok but uninspiring. The staff ranged from exceptionally friendly to slighly cold and suspicious. There were wedding on in the hotel both nights we stayed which wasnt a problem but highlighted the more corporate feel of the place rather than the more intimate masseria feel that I had hoped for.
