We stayed at hotel King-Minos in Tolo for two weeks. We had booked a double room with panoramic sea view. There are rooms with mountain view and sea view, but we realy wanted a sea view room, because we adore the sea. The rooms were amazing with relaxing colours and renovated bathrooms with jacuzzi without an additional cost. The room had everything we would like in order to stay comfortable and relaxed. The balconies were huge with a table and four chairs and we could sea the dolphins swimming very early in the morning and the romantic sunset evey afternoon. The hotel is located at the best spot in Tolo enjoying fantastic views of the sea. You could even see the Island Spetses! Furthermore it is very closed to the village just 4 minutes walk, as well as the sea, 2 minutes walk. It is only 10 minutes by car from the fabulous Nafplio, where you can enjoy your meal while watching the castle Bourtzi, which is really on the sea! You could even go by boat there and don't forget to take your pisture with you, because the view from the Boutzi castle is unbelievable! Hotel King-Minos is also closed to the sightseeings like Myceane, Theatre of Epidavrus, Ancient Tyrinth, Palamidi and Bourtzi castle, ancient Corinth. The staff members were extremenly friendly, and nice. They were always smiling and telling us Kalimera in Greek. They were really making our day start with the best way. The receptionist members couldn't be better always willing to help us and give us directions and guidelines. They seemed to do that not only us a their work, but they really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I guess this comes from their heart. I would recommend this hotel to everybody, because there are many things to do even if you are a teenager, a couple, with friends or for business, it is lovely.

We were a group of friends 17 families with one or two kids per family (ages 7 years old and 4 year old) in total. We arranged for a weekend at the hotel and overall we were satisfied.
The rooms are spacious and can accomodate 4 people very comfortable. They were clean and most of them had view to the sea.
The hotel staff were very helpful.
The location if very nice and within walking distance from all major Tolon restaurants and beach.
I would definetely recommend for families with young children.

Stayed a week in this hotel. Highlights are the pool, the view, the lobby, the service, and the food. Has one of the best breakfasts at a hotel restaurant. In addition the nightly buffet ( if you decide to stay in and not explore Tolo/Nafploin) is also quite good.

The rooms vary so it very much depends on what room you get assigned.

Stayed in King Minos for 4 nights in July 2009. We were very warmly welcomed by man at reception and shown where lift was to bring baggage up. As the lift is up a short flight of stairs it could cause problems to anyone with heavy luggage or those who could not carry luggage. Bedroom was adequate for myself, husband and 12 year old daughter. The view was over the pool and out over the bay, absolutely beautiful. We were slightly worried to see a large group of teenagers also staying but these worries were unfounded as they were no problem. Also their rooms seemed to be in different section away from families and other guests. The room was well worn but clean although the en suite really could do with a make over. Breakfast was the usual fare of cold cuts, fruit, eggs, selection of bread and cereals, nothing very exciting but again adequate. All in all this hotel was good value for money but is not really 4 star, based on the Elfesina Hotel where we stayed previously, which also has a 4 star rating. The pool area is the best aspect of the hotel. Nice poolside snack bar with pleasant attendant. The setting is magnificent and the area well kept. Finally the mattresses were rock hard! They were really uncomfortable and I woke stiff and sore each morning. We didn't mention this at reception as we didnt want to complain but they should sort them out. I would probably stay there again but only of they buy new mattresses!
