“The most memorable place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2010

We booked a cycling holiday for our 25th wedding anniversary - something we never thought we would enjoy but great for sightseeing and exercise. Just so happened that the night of our anniversary we were booked in to Le Mas Des Gres - and we couldn't have planned anything more special. So well looked after and what great food and hospitality. I am hoping that we will be back for our 30th -

“So great we're getting married there!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 May 2010

we first went to Mas des Gres in July 09 and planned to stay only a night or two on our way down to the coast as we had just got engaged in Paris and wanted to explore the southern coast , but when we got to Mas des Gres we decided to stay here for our whole holiday!!!!!
Nina and Thierry are wonderful hosts and when the hotel was booked out for our last couple of nights they got us a room with friends Pierre and Magda who have a newly renovated room to let out at there home which was just wonderful and worth staying at too
Thierry is the chef and the food is just out of this world. Both my Fiance and I tried things we would never normally eat and were not disappointed by any of it
Breakfast and dinner are served outside most of the time which is a lovely shaded area
The wine list is worth a mention as we never had a bad wine either
Nina is a great hostess and extremely helpful and they both go out of their way to help their guests
All the rooms are of good size (we've seen them all), very comfortable and air conditioned and they have a character to them without being too fancy
The pool is a good size and plenty of seats and loungers for guests to top up their tans
The hotel is within easy reach of tons of great places to visit such as Gordes, Abbey De Senanque (a must for the lavender fields) and Isle sur la sorgue( a lovely Market town with nice shops and cafes and a beautiful church at its heart
and its within easy reach of avignon, nimes and marseilles for traveling in
We loved this place so much half way through our trip we asked Thierry and Nina if it would be possible for us to actually marry on the grounds and they were more than willing to and have been very helpful with pointing us to the right people localy for everything we need for our wedding
our wedding will be the 3rd time in a year that we have stayed here ,I think that says it all!

“Exactly what we expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2009

We wanted a small, out of the way place, which was relaxing, not stressed with kids and served great food.

Nina and Thierry and their staff delivered this.

Decent sized room (9), adequate for our needs, not spectacular but more than adequate.

Everything else was in a league of its own. Fantastic feeel about the place, really relaxed and welcoming. Nothing is too much effort. Without exception the staff were amazing.

From the owners, who speak fluent English, French, German, to the waitresses, gardener and cleaners everything was very welcoming.

The food was amazing. The breakfast was very laid back and substantial, no real strict times, exactly what you want when on holiday.

The evening meals were the highlight. Served up in the outdoors they were all stunning meals (we stayed for 5 nights).

You must stay at this place, if you are a couple or taking the family.

Cannot wait to go back

“A really great place!”

We chose this place by mistake as we thought we were booking Le Mas d'Aigret further south but I have to say it was a good mistake. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and more. It was one of te only places we found that had been able to offer a room that accommodated a family with four children, everyone else splitting us into two or more rooms.
Nina nad Thierry are very welcoming and laid back, children are definitely welcome and looked after. the only point that if your children are faddy about food then be awre that there is not a menu but you have what everyone is having that day. We didn't ask for anything else but I'm sure they could help out. Lunch was wonderful buffet of hors d'ouvre which was exactly what we wanted on a hot summers day. You eat outside under the beautiful mulberry trees - the perfect provencal scene. The children were able to run around while we relaxed and everyone was happy. Dinner was included in the room price as was breakfast. Both were memorable. the swimmin pool is very welcoming with comfortable furniture. All very clean and elegant. The house is decorated to a very high standard and very well maintained. there is secure parking also.

Everyone seemed very happy there. It is a real find and we are looking forward to going bck some day.

“A lovely B&B just outside of Il sur La Sorgue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2007

We stayed on the weekend so we could go to the Sunday antique market at Il sur La Sorgue. The accomodations couldn't have been nicer! The place was as neat as a pin! The grounds and terrace were lovely and enjoyed having petit dejeuner outside. The dinners were cooked by the husband and chef were outstanding! The staff was very accomodating and friendly. Parking on the grounds was closed off with gates and very secure. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The views and location was very countrylike and quiet.
