Great rooms at the Atyrau Renaissance with beds you could just sink into! Staff is professional and helpful. Well equipped gym and very well maintained indoor pool.
Silk restaurant offered a good variety of foods, business lunch buffet on weekdays has good offering of pastas, meats and fresh salad bar. Impressive array of desserts on the buffet. Champion's bar on first floor has nice atmosphere to hang out with friends for a few beers and watch games. The bakery Baursak offers perfect delicacies to pack and take home for your loved ones. Chai lounge also offers tasty quick bites with nice area to sit and talk.
The hotel spa offers great massages at reasonable rates too.
Nice souvenir shop in the hotel, prices lower than market for better quality items.
A short walk away is Ardager plaza with some shops and an Ideal supermarket.
Staff are very child-friendly.
Free wi fi is available in the lounge area but not in the rooms.
Only con I can think of is quality of housekeeping in not exactly up to the mark.
Overall very nice hotel , would readily recommend.

Not too much to choose from in Atyrau, but this place was way too expensive, staff unfriendly, no extras included ie everything was at an extra cost.

I stayed at this hotel as it was just opening up. At the time there was very little choice in terms of food and the server managed to spill a coke all over me.

However the rooms were extremely nice and this was easily the best hotel in town. However it is very pricey.

During the last year or so, I have stayed at the Renaissance about 10 times. It is a very new hotel, and there were a few teething problems that were very noticable during my first few visits. But the sort of problems encountered during those early days are nowhere to be seen now.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is a great atmosphere both in the lobby area, the lobby bar, and in the sports bar. The restaurant is nice, and the food is good both in the restaurant and in the bars. However, the menu in the lobby bar is a little bit limited. But the Renaissance burger is still available even though it isn't on the menu!

The rooms are of a reasonable size, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is also a good size, but here we find the only thing that I really don't like about this hotel. The shower is almost impossible to use without water splashing all over the floor. And with the bath being quite deep it can also be a little bit tricky getting in or out at times, especially if you have a bad leg or back.

The location is also quite convenient. It is on the main road that runs from the city centre to the airport, and it is also close to the main business area of the city.

All in all the hotel is a convenient and comfortable place to stay, and there is no doubt that it is the best hotel in Atyrau.
