I recently stayed at the Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens and the place was very nice, the room was very spacious and clean. My room was located close to the water and the view was magnificent. The lodge is located in the perfect spot adjacent to the entry of Zion National Park. The only draw back was that "cell reception" wasn't the best, but I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for solitude and tranquility.

It's a romantic and convenient place to stay. It was my second time staying there and I will probably stay there again on my next trip to Zion this summer. You will not be disappointed.

Our stay at the Cliffrose was very enjoyable. We stayed in one of their 2 bedroom/2bath rooms that has lots a space to spread out in. It had a very nice open feel in the main living area and a wonderful deck. The grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately it rained during our stay, so we were unable to explore as much as we would have liked. A late check out would have been nice, but not offered there. For a family stay, I highly recommend the 2 bedroom. The full kitchen was a big plus. Only draw back is it is one the most expensive hotels in Springdale.

I've been through this area in the past and it is truely beautiful. That along with the photos and reviews of the Cliffrose I'm thinking it's a delight. I did have a problem with booking however:
1. Jan 14th booked a room on their website
2. 15th I still had no email confirmation.
3. 16th Called both numbers on their site and could never get through to a person ( call yourself and you'll know what I mean)
4. Contacted VISA and was informed that yes, a room had been booked for the 19th at $165 but (!) a second room for $146 had been charged to my card for same night...
5. I stayed calm but after calling yet again ( total 5 calls made with just long winded narration) I was getting steamed. long with leaving my phone# on their ans machine I also speeled out my email asking for just some contact.
6. VISA mediator got involved and she tried to reach them while I waited on hold. Guess what? No luck for her either.
7. I did finally get through about 8 hours back and the employee had no explanation about the bogus room charge but asurred me both charges would be cancelled and an email confirming would arrive shortly.
8. Going on 9 hours and well, I let you guess where I am ( still) at.

Have fun in Mt. Zion NP wherever you choose to stay, just be careful with your bookings. I've travelled for 40+ years and this is first time I've been spooked about giving out credit info to a hotel or airline.
