Stayed in Cabin E6 for one night this past summer and accidentally left a pair of expensive men's shoes in the closet when we left in the morning. We didn't realize our mistake until we got home that night, and by the next day when we called the Park to inquire with Lost and Found, we were told that housekeeping did not find anything and there had already been another set of guests in the room since we'd checked out. We found it extremely hard to believe that housekeeping did not find the shoes, and even though we realize that it was our mistake and the hotel management isn't responsible for items left behind, we still filed a claim management, only to be told basically that we were SOL. Even if this theft hadn't occurred, I still wouldn't have rated this property very highly - the bed sank to the floor, the carpet and furniture was circa 1976, interior lighting was a joke, the bathroom shower was rigged up haphazardly to the water heater that stood squat in the middle of the room (we thought the water heater was going to blow up in the middle of the night - no idea what that terrible noise was). Sure it's inside the Park and probably the cheapest option if you want to stay inside, but just be forewarned of the basic basic basic non-amenities and don't ever leave anything behind by accident!
Room Tip: Bring your own food/drinks - the nearby cafeteria is a ripoff! $6 for a 2-ounce box of Cheerios?!?
