This is an average hotel. Luckily we were in a newly remodeled room. Great location for downtown cincinnati. Near the nightlife. A major annoyance was the time it took to check in...almost an hour!!! Reception staff were not as helpful as I would have expected. I have never waited in a line that long for a hotel check in. We booked on a discount online site so I can't complain about the value. It was a great deal! I would stay again for the price if the wait wasn't so long to check in.

Stayed here for a bengals game u can't beat the location. Your a short walk from all the stadiums also your right in down town. Another plus your a short drive from a 24 hour liqure store. The resturant in the hotel is very nice. Macy's is right next door. It's just right in the center of everything.

This hotel is not as bad as the reviews suggest! I was worried after I booked due to the reviews but don't pay attention! We stayed for a Bengals game and New Year's Eve weekend so luckily we got a room downtown. The hotel is in great proximity to everything. It's right across the street from Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue and within walking distance to stadium, ball field, and Fountain Square - among everything else! The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and service was outstanding. The front desk helped with everything we needed, and we even had problems with a movie we ordered and they took off the charge without complaint - a maintenance man was in our room to assist within minutes. We arrived later in the evening (around 10:30) so we had no problems with check-in; however, we noticed the next day there was a line at least 20 deep to check in. The restaurant downstairs was a great value - $25 for lunch for myself and my husband to fill up before the game. The bar area was not very inviting however; it's off to the side and didn't seem too lively. We encountered a line for the elevator a few times, but we did stay during a very busy weekend. For the price of this hotel you can't beat it. It's across from the Hyatt and Hilton Netherland and about half the price. I would stay at this hotel again hands down!

The room was clean and nice enough, although small. The check-in process was painfully slow due to the capabilities of the clerk as well as their computer system. I prepaid the room when I booked online and gave my credit card when I checked in. When I returned to my room after dinner, the restaurant called and apparently the desk only charged the parking but did not authorize my card for incidentals. The worst experience was in the restaurant / lounge. They were understaffed and service was extremely slow. They ran out of many of the food and drinks that were on the menu. We were in no hurry so the slow service was not an issue for our table but other tables complained and did not seem to get anywhere with the manager. Food was fine though.
