This hotel is clean, friendly, reasonably priced (although taxes are a ridiculous 17%). I love the staff...they are always smiling and asking how they can make my stay better. This is my new go to hotel in the Queen City.

Choose this hotel based on its proximity to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The commute to the hospital was very easy (less than five minutes). As everyone has remarked, the breakfast was very enjoyable. Hot, fresh in a very clean area. No compliants whatsoever.
This hotel is within walking distance of the University Hospitals, which is why we selecting them for our stay. (After we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer a discount when you have family in the hospital - but we found out from someone other than the hotel and had to ask for the special rate, even though we'd mentioned to two people that we were going to the hospital. So be sure to ask for the special rate!) The hotel is newer, clean, and conveniently located to the University Hospital. It was perfect for that purpose. Their breakfast was decent.
I had to write, my husband, an angel flight pilot, stayed overnight and couldn't stop raving about his stay when he got home. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to accommodate even though he wasn't a patient at the local hospital, the cleanliness was amazing, breakfast layout was great and staff was very kind! The family that he flew to CVG had been there many times previously and were so pleased with this stay! A king suite there is absolutley huge! The discount they offer to patients is very generous! Next time, I'm going along!
We stayed here on Christmas night and everything was terrific except for one thing (hence the 4/5 stars). The place seems really new and was very clean. Price was reasonable, fitness room was great, and the pool was good for the kids. Parking was free and it wasn't too far from the highway. We were just passing through, but the hotel is clearly in a central location uptown and I could see why that would be a big draw for others.
Timm at the front desk checked in our family of 4 (two grade school kids, my husband and me) and was wonderful. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable- all you could ask for in a front desk employee who had to work on Christmas. We brought our dinner and ate in the lobby (microwave was available, good seating, and a big tv for the car-weary kids). Very nice.
The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. There was free Wi-fi, cable TV, comfy beds, decent towels and a good shower. I suppose we all would have slept like babies except for the one thing- that dang in-room heater/AC unit cycled on and off all night. It was horrible and there wasn't anything we could do about it. Very frustrating for an otherwise stellar hotel. Breakfast and a good run on the treadmill with a dip in the pool for the kids (plus check out at 11am) made it all a good place to stay.
We'd stay here again... but only after checking the working order of the in room heater/AC unit.
