After two weeks staying at this Hilton property we felt that we could give an honest review for others. We chose a lower room facing the garden since we both don't enjoy heights and were looking for a quieter place to retire after our busy days in and around Waikiki. It just so happened that we were on the same floor as the pool and found this to be added bonus. Out our door and on to the pool deck. We visited Mac 24/7 many times and found it to be consistently good with friendly wait staff and good sized portions. In mentioning the staff I would just like to say that this is really a stand out group. Always welcoming and always able to help in some way. Thanks to Frills for her first rate customer service, Jose in Mac 24/7 for his warmth and Xi our room attendant for doing such a special job and always having a smile and a nice greeting to the day. There were many more but I just can't remember their names?? We typically rent a condo but we tried this option since our airline was offering a special package and we were glad we did. I just want to mention for others that kitty corner to the hotel there is a ABC store and just past that in one of the apartment towers there is a laundry that was very clean and well maintained. This is one reason we normally like having our own place but in this instance it didn't matter. Oh, and the trio that sings in the open air lounge a few nights a week was an enjoyable way to end the day......hope this helps.

We did stay at Hilton Waikiki, Honolulu and booked on special rate. Considering low rate and being off the beach, realistically we exspect to get so-so hotel. When we checked in - this property is OUTSTANDING ! Just remodeled and have nice VERY comfortable beds, view and perfect location (just block off the main street & beach). Lobby bar, free lobby Wi-Fi, personell is friendly & helpful. The Manager is THE BEST. Over all they did very good job on remodeling, we love this place and WILL stay there again. Thank you!!!

Good location only 1 block from Waikiki beach and short walk along the sea front to the shopping area.

Many restaurants within easy walking distance but it’s also worth checking out the one in the hotel (Mac 24/7) – the food is good and the prices reasonable for a hotel, not fine dining but casual Diner style.

Rooms are a good size with BIG beds and bathrooms with a proper walk-in shower! Clean and comfortable. All rooms seem to have balconies but you need a head for heights, they are not enclosed and not substantial. No WiFi.

The pool is on a roof but not at the top which means it gets a lot of shade from surrounding buildings. It’s not the most attractive feature bare and very windy – don’t know it it’s always like that but who goes to Waikiki for the pool?

Like: location, restaurant. Dislike: pool, no wifi.

Just finished 11 nights there while working w/a client. Hands down, this is hotel has the best guestroom bathrooms of any Hilton I've ever stayed in. Hilton tends to have small & not very well lite bathrooms, but this property is definitely an exception-very large w/lots of counter & shelf space for stuff. Beds were quite comfy & the views, regardless of which side of the building, are great. Had some bumps the first night, but June, Stephanie, & both Michelle's at the front desk did a great job handling those. The one major downside to this property (& they know it) is the guestroom internet access-it's currently wired, but very hit or miss on actually working (the routers for each room are on the wall behind the credenza below the tv-check the drawer where the ethernet cable is or behind the mini-fridge to reset it). The hotel is putting in wireless for all the guestrooms & told me they hope it's done sometime this spring. Otherwise, the hotel is a easy walk to the beach plus numerous shops & restaurants both on Kuhio as well as Kalakawa streets.
