I've stayed here maybe 10 times in the past 12 months. I travel all the time, and this place is just really great all the way around. The conversion from old-time hospital to hotel is fantastic. I spend half the year in a hotel, and this is by FAR the best place I ever go. Highly recommended. Really cool bar upstairs, as well.

Room tip: There are no bad rooms in this hotel, period.

I stayed one night and this was a new, clean and well kept hotel in a renovated old psychiatric hospital. That said it is in a funny location not really near to anything. Also, the rooms were pretty small. Finally, it was pretty cold there during our stay and the new windows had all sorts of leaks and the room was very cold. Staff was nice but pretty inexperienced. The free breakfast was ok but a limited offering.

Dear tally11111,

Thank you for your feedback on your experience with Hotel Parq Central. We are always glad to hear back from our guests, about both what we are doing right and what we could use some improvement on. We are sorry to hear that the location was not to your liking. Should you stay with us again, we hope that you will take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service to visit Old Town, Nob Hill, or one of the other unique and fascinating neighborhoods within our shuttle range.

We are very sorry to hear that your room had an issue with heating. We will make sure that our maintenance staff keeps an eye on the problem and get any window leaks sealed up as soon as possible. Also, our staff and our breakfast are two areas in which we are always improving; hopefully the next time you stay with us you will have a more satisfactory experience with them.

Once again, we are very grateful for your feedback. We hope you will consider visiting us again, so that we can prove to you our dedication to top-notch comfort and quality.

All the best,

Gray Adams

We could not have been more pleasantly surprised with this hotel, although all the reviews led us here, we still found much to be pleased with. This is an old 1940's hospital, remodeled with taste and thought. Lobby area very pleasant, nice seating areas, water always available at the desk, staff very personable and helpful, easy check in/check out. Exterior areas nicely landscaped. Rooms (we stayed in two different rooms)smallish but adequate for sure, tastefully done with muted colors & bedding. Shower was wonderful, rain shower , nice tile work, all amenities, nice lighting. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, great sunset viewing, nice wine list..it is very well located to downtown, airport, restaurants...two of our favs were The Grove and Farina both just 2-3 blks away. Bedding was very nice, bed comfy.. a good breakfast is served with lots of choices , above average choices in fact. Only complaint and for most this probably would not be an issue, we are very noise sensitive, hotel is located at a very busy intersection with the freeway right above...so both rooms did have some traffic noise...the second one overlooked the courtyard and noise seemed not so intrusive....despite this minor issue we would definitely return.

Room tip: if noise is an issue ask for room on the back overlooking courtyard and as far to the north end as possible.

Old hospital turned into boutique hotel. Very convenient location. During my most two recent trips to Albuquerque and this is where I stayed and I will definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff at the front desk and roof top lounge. Utilized the continental breakfast once. Not too bad, but I chose to walk a short distance to one of several restaurants located close by. The rooms are small but quiet and well appointed. Traveled here in October and December 2014.

Old railroad hospital converted into small boutique hotel. Great location for car access right off I-25. Somewhat sketchy downtown ABQ neighborhood. Free parking. Fantastic continental breakfast, much more than your typical "continental", lots of fresh pastries, croissants, quiche. Very accommodating staff. Rooms are quite small but well appointed. Definitely a great place to stay if visiting ABQ.
