This hotel is poorly managed. I purchased the room though priceline. Per Priceline policy, any needed changes to the room I have to go through the hotel and could cost extra. This was not a problem. I called the hotel 2 weeks before arrival to confirm if there was a sleeper sofa in the room and if not could I upgrade to either 2 beds or one with a sleeper sofa. I was told that all rooms had a sleeper sofa; I was also told that all rooms had a microwave and refridgerator (sp?). When we got there, nothing was as told. 1. The room did not have a sleeper sofa. When I questioned this, I was told that no one told me there would be and "perhaps I only thought I was told there would be a sleeper sofa." 2. There was no microwave and fridge. When I asked about this, they said yes they could get me one and "was I sure I really needed them." 3. We stayed for a week, during that time the hot tub was never available. I went to the hot tub the first day and it was obviously broke down (alge, no circulation, etc). I notified the front desk of the issue and they said that they would get it fixed. When we left 6 days later, it still was not fixed.
When it came time to check out, the bill was different than what I was quoted and paid for on priceline. When I questioned this also, they: 1. First said that was between priceline and I and that I still owed the difference. I pulled out my contract with priceline, which stated otherwise. 2. They then said that they would go back to priceline to get the additional money. I do not know if they did and what the results were. I hope that priceline did not pay the extra money as Holiday Inn agreed to the price I bid on, therefore they should not be able to change their mind at the time of the stay.
