This is the only full service hotel in Brownsville. The hotel offers convenient free shuttle service to Brownsville Airport. The hotel is conveniently located across a mall. I noticed some guests getting a complimentary shuttle to go to the mall.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I had an opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurant. The quality of food was great and the price was very reasonable. I also had a chance to have breakfast at the hotel. The hot breakfast buffet offers a good variety. Fresh pancakes made by the chef were very tasty.

Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Brownsville for business or leisure. I will definitely be back at this hotel.

I booked two night stay on the Priceline. It wrongfully booked for us a smoking room. Although it is not hotel's fault, the manager's attitude is really bad and tried to ignore my request for changing other non-smoking room if somebody cancel their room. I left my contact information and told them if there is any available non-smoking room just inform me. BUT...nobody called me until I asked the front desk at second night. They told me there are two non-smoking room but I cannot change because I should show up in the morning for request. The hotel kept me stay in a smoking room two night and I AM very upset about that. Very disappointing hotel.

Had about 15 bites on my legs after staying here... Contacted management and never got a response... Had the bites confirmed by a doctor.. ... Hotel smells very musty when you walk into it. i stayed in room 350... Third Floor.... I recommend staying at Holiday Inn express. I changed to the Express after two nights.... Terrible experience overall...
