Well it is big and they tried to make it "Grand" but it just doesn't seem to work. Kind of a Ritz Carlton lite not quite as much attitude.
The rooms are indeed quite large.
The staff is sort of half and half, half pretentious snobby and half genuine nice.
What this place is lacking is any kind of personality, lots of marble and gold plated stuff oh and big chandeliers, big deal it has a very off putting vibe.
Kinda looked like there was a lot of cleaning of suspicious fluids from the carpets too, given the large stains almost everywhere in the hallways. And lets not forget the big weird stain on the carpet in my room.
Room Tip: Ask if the carpets are clean! Tay away from the Main St. side the train is pretty noisy.
