“Comfortable and Charming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2010

What a delight the Tudor Inn was! We stayed in two different rooms, and both were very comfortable. Betsy's hospitality is beyond the realm! The second time we were there she was away, and we did miss her. However, even her standins were well selected! Breakfasts were wonderful; here again, she left behind delectable dishes! I don't even like oatmeal, and she fixed a cooked cereal dish that was fantastic! Betsy noted that she's spent years wanted to run a great B & B, and she has certainly accomplished her goal.

“A wonderful stay at the Tudor Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2010

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Tudor Inn for our First Anniversary Weekend Getaway. We had a wonderfu experience at this Inn with Betsy being a wonderful, thoughtful hostess. I enjoyed the charming library where you could play music and sit down with one of the many books as well as the delicious breakfasts that were served very elegantly right on time. Each afternoon, Betsy would put out something good to eat, such as chocolate bundt cake or a cheese and fruit plate. All very tasty! Our room was cozy, clean and pleasant. I slept soundly in our room. Betsy was so very informative about Pt. Angeles and the surrounding area and shared many helpful ideas and tips with us with a smile! She was warm, friendly, delighfully informative and a wonderful hostess. We would highly recommend this lovely Inn.

“Betsy is the # 1 reason to stay there- hostess w the mostest!”

Wife and I stayed there three nights to explore the Olympic Peninsula. Yes, the rooms and the house could use a little renovation, but Betsy made our stay memorable and the breakfasts were SO GOOD, day after day. You don't go to a 100 year old house and expect the same thing as a brand new hotel - some of how the home has aged and its history s the charm.

Betsy, best of luck and godspeed always!

“What a wonderful home away from home!!”

We stayed here during a wonderful visit to the Olympic National Park. We could not have had a better stay elsewhere! Our hostess, Betsy, was friendly and very hands on with tour information and suggestions for our adventures. The breakfasts were oh so yummy and the added afternoon snacks and wine/beer were an unexpected surprise!! What we loved the most was our hostess enjoyed our company as we did hers while lounging around. Oh, and what was a nice touch was our breakfast to go!! We planned a trip to Victoria Island and in doing so would have missed breakfast. But not here, Betsy prepared a breakfast to go in a brown bag! We had everything we needed for a nice breakfast on the ferry! (FOR THE BROWNBAGGER THAT BAGGED ON BETSY'S BROWN BAG BREAKFAST ON THIS SITE NEEDS TO REALIZE THAT IF THEY WANT WARM BREAKFAST ON THE RUN, GO TO MCDONALD'S OR DENNYS!!) I would highly recommend this B/B if you are traveling this way. It was centrally located and in a really beautiful neighborhood. Thank you Betsy!!!

“It's OK, small rooms, getting funky, nice hostess”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2010

Based on other reviews here and on the website, I definitely expected something more - more clean, more comfort, and higher quality. Don't get me wrong -- it's not BAD, just not the good. The place has been around awhile, and it shows. The house needs some updating. The room we stayed in was cramped. The shower was small, my wife took a shower but I simply could not fit (well, I am 6' 6", but like I say, I expected more).
If I had to so it all over again, I would skip staying in Port Angeles, and simply drive up to Hurricaine ridge, make a longer day of it, continuing on to a better location and better B&B.
BTW, the water in Port Angeles is untreated. If you have any health condition, drink only bottled water (we were not informed of this upon check-in).
