We stayed one night at the Sportsman Motel in Port Angeles, Washington, while on a trip to the Olympic National Park. We paid $65 for a room with a queen bed, cable TV, microwave and frig. It is an older hotel, along Highway 101 on the East side of Port Angeles. It was very clean and had a very reasonable summer rate. The rows of roses lining the parking lot is a nice touch and and gentleman at the front desk was pleasant.
There is a bit of traffic noise during the day from the nearby highway, but overall we thought it was a nice place to stay for the night. It also has very convenient parking, right in front of the doors, which make it nice for unloading the car.
If you just need a decent place to sleep without spending a lot of money, stay there.
