What we mostly care about in a motel is: cleanliness, maintenance, and quietness.
We stayed 1 night mid Sep-2011. We had a 2-Q bed room. Reasonable rate - $99 + tax. It was very spacious with all amenities. From the outside, the motel doesn't look flattering, but the inside is quite good. Though not renovated or fancy, it was clean, well maintained, and quiet. The owners were very nice and helpful. Breakfast is basic and you need to take the stuff with you to your room, but we don't mind about breakfast.

Bottom line: Good choice in Port Angeles. You certainly get what you pay for. We would stay again.

The hosts of this hotel are fantastic. Friendly and helpful, always smiling and wanting to do for you. They had a cook out one night for the guests and when they found out we were going hiking one day she handed me a handful of granola bars and fruit for the hike. The place was very clean and well run great location. Although most rooms had air, ours didn't but they did provide us with a fan which was great.

Huge room, fridge, microwave, snacks for breakfast, and very clean. Great rates and the staff went out of their way for us.

We decided to stay at this hotel because of other reviews we read on Trip Adviso stating the rooms were clean and the management folks were great. This was absolutely true! We were able to extend our stay without any hassle and pop back in for another unplanned night later. We were welcomed back with open arms. KC, the female mgr, is wonderful. I was getting coffee one morning and she was recommending that two ladies taking a ferry go ahead and take some water bottles she had set out since the ferries charge so much. She has a book of pictures to show hikers some recommended trails in Olympic to take. This was pretty helpful. She also gave my husband and me granola bars for our hikes too! Her kindness and thoughtfulness can't be matched. The room we stayed in was small but clean. Larger rooms are available. We felt safe and comfortable at this hotel.
