If you're not looking for luxury, you can't do any better than the Port Angeles Inn. Situated 1 street above the harbor, this small motel offers great views and easy access to the boardwalk shops. Although the building could use a facelift, our room was clean, warm, and functioning. The staff are friendly, accomodating, and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again; all in all, a great deal at an affordable rate.

We spent one night at the Port Angeles Inn in October 2011. Our room had an excellent view of the harbor. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. It was a short walk to restaurants and the waterfront. The room rate seemed a little high, but we stayed there during Crabfest, so maybe the room rate was higher than usual. We would stay there again but would avoid the Crabfest.

Our family decided on Port Angeles Inn because we had heard & read that the inn was small and within walking distance to all the local attractions (or most of them). We were so surprised by the friendly, hometown atmosphere we encountered. You could tell the staff liked their jobs and wanted vacationers to enjoy their time away from home. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy. A bit outdated but not enough to gripe about. Our family enjoyed the continental breakfast and the overall quick response to our needs. We stayed at the Port Angeles Inn in late September 2011. We had researched others in town, and felt this was the best value. We weren't disappointed. The location is good - easy, pleasant walk downtown. The room itself was plain but clean and comfortable; clean bathroom with decent shower and plenty of hot water. The continental breakfast was typical, decent selection and enough to get you started for the day. We would stay here again.
