Since we have family in the area, we will be coming twice a year. Well we added a new addition to the family in December so spent 3 full weeks here. The staff was friendly including the Front Desk Manger Hannah; the bar staff Koko, Woody and Marvin; the bar menu for eating was the cheapest in town....$5 meals!!!! Our waterfront room we got on a Red Lion online special and was worth the money; we watched the Boat Parade from our room as well as the Polar Bear club jump into the icy waters on New Years Day! Watching the walkers on the Discovery Trail or the ferry leaving for Victoria is just awesome! And only steps away from town.

The Port Angeles Red Lion is located right on the Strait of Juan de Fuca and is one of the most comfortable stays in the area. Choose a water side room which will provide you with a view of the ferry terminal, aquarium and Ediz Crook. You can enjoy your coffee from the balcony as you enjoy the sunrise. The walking path is conveniently located and will provide you, your family and your puppy with a welcomed walk!

The rooms are nicely appointed, comfortable and SAFE! We enjoy the restaurant (when arriving late) and you'll enjoy the pool and spa not to mention close proximity to all down town shops.

What a ripoff joint! We got the Military rate. $69. Charged another $30 for patio room upgrade. Breakfast was a zoo. Our server was awesome. But the food nasty. General Management Lady. Was a complete witch. Cancelling our Red Lion Club Membership.

I have stayed in this Hotel several times and have found it to be consistently above average. The service and the ambiance of the place bring me back a couple of times a year, I like it here!!!
