i found this hotel my 2nd night in Macon, and did'nt compare to the 1st night. The front desk clerk, Laurie Hall, was very pleasant. The room was very pleasant, and the heated indoor pool w/jaquzi was awesome, especially the hours it was open. I have to stay in Macon several more times over the next 2 years, and will stay only at Country Inn. Thanks Laurie

Was in Macon for 4 nights/5 days for a family medical emergency. Staff was awesome and honored the GA motel coupon guide rate for all 4 nights. Great breakfast and motel located near major eateries like Outback, Cracker Barrel, Chick Fil A, Cabrerras, Longhorns. Exit 169 off I-75 in North Macon near I-16 junction. Would definitely stay here again when in town. Newer property that was definitely worth the rate.

Staff was excellent (but see below). Facility clean and new. Room was comfortable. Beds and bath were great. But YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING WITH THE TRAINS! 3 to four huge trains rumble through every hour! Seriously! Whoever located this hotel on this spot not but a few yards from a major commercial train line should have his or her head examined (check it out on GoogleEarth)! I read the other reviews - maybe they were all for the other side of the hotel! In short, DO NOT BOOK ROOM 128! Oh, and the drunk guy who pounded on our door at 3 AM didn't help things. And we were close to the front desk - where was the staff?

Very nice hotel, especially good value for the price (about $75/night). The room was clean and comfortable. No problems at all. The continental breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Possibly the best sausage links I have ever eaten! No kidding! Great variety of items...anything you could want. Sure started my day off right! Also, we had to cancel our second night due to plans changing, and Ms. Hall (the front desk manager) was very gracious and did not charge us for a second night, even though we were past the checkout time. We really appreciated this and will definitely stay at this hotel again!
