“Not long enough”

We where welcomed at the front door, very hospitable. Our accomadation was so interesting with all the german memorabilia and the art work signed by the owner of the lodge. If you wanted you could have purchased items of interest. We love children but as a mature aged couple it was nice to escape them and have some quality time in a quiet comfortable surrounding. The ensuite off our bedroom was amazing with a huge oval spa and the view from the shady balconey capture a cool breeze with distant views of the gold coast. Gallery walk was just a stroll away a slight incline. I would recommend taking a torch next time. The stars just weren't bright enough on the night. Breakfast really was gourmet german cold meat eggs home made jam and muesli was yummy!! Thankyou Stephan and Marion for a fabulous time. We will be back.

Muscatels Country Lodge was just a little piece of heaven at Tambourine Mountain.
Stephan & Marion were wonderful hosts. The food was fabulous & the rooms were so clean and inviting. Muscatels is very close to Gallery Walk so it was great to be able to go to the shops & restaurants. We would love to come back again.

We came for a 1 night getaway in beautiful Mount Tamborine and were very happy with our stay at Muscatels. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home. We really loved looking the european home decorations and the home made crafts. Our room decor was beautiful, our view fantastic and the in room spa was so relaxing. We had all the luxury that you would expect from a getaway plus that warm feeling of being at home. Loved our stay. We will definitely be back.

“An excellent B&B experience!!”

We were very impressed with Muscatels and would recommend it to anyone visiting Mt Tambourine. Muscatels is conveniently located and easy to find. It is peacefully situated in a quiet residential area with excellent views to the Gold Coast on one side and rainforest seclusion on another. Our room was spacious, tastefully appointed and spotlessly clean - as were the common lounge and dining areas. The hosts Stephan and Marion are a delightful couple and their breakfast presentation is quite superb - good enough for a return visit on its own. Our stay was a one night stop over en route to the Sunshine Coast. We left the next day feeling refreshed, relaxed and very fortunate to have chosen Muscatels. Would we do it again? Absolutely!!!

“Muscatels....service second to none!”

My girlfriend and I stayed two nights at Muscatels Country Lodge whilst attending a wedding at Mount Tamborine, and would highly recommend it to anyone considering accomodation in the area. Stephan, our host, was an absolute gentleman. The service we experienced was absolutely first class. The room was absolutely spotless, with fantastic views over the coastal strip below from every window. We had a spa suite, which was large and beautiful furnished with quality fittings throughout. Breakfast was included, and this was also first class. Stephan's omelette is recommended, and the fruit salad is divine. Muscatels offers a level of personal service and quality that hotels just cannot deliver. It is close to shops if you need to buy that toothbrush you forgot, or to pick up a nice bottle of wine to enjoy in the spa. I will be recommending this establishment to everyone I meet who is considering a relaxing weekend away!
Thankyou Stephan!
