When I told my wife that I wanted to book our room on the Club Floor, she felt it was far too expensive. I insisted on the extra cost and now, after our recent visit, she will never stay on another floor. This “hotel within the hotel” is run very much like the boutique properties we prefer. With only 26 rooms and a staff of 3 at all hours (6am to 11pm), the personalized service is incredible. The “all day” Happy Hour is extremely generous with top shelf brands, plus there is always a buffet of truly delicious food to enjoy (try the hash of smoked pork, potatoes, and cabbage – Yum!). You can literally eat three meals a day here with no need to pay for restaurants or bars. The staff members are very friendly and well-trained, greet all guests by name, and take care of your every need. If you want a food item or beverage not on the buffet, simply ask. We were amazed to be offered food and drinks to enjoy back in our room. We have stayed at the Four Seasons Wailea before and believe it to be the finest hotel in Hawaii. Now, we can say the Club Floor might be the best in its class. If you are lucky enough to be upgraded to this floor, know that it is worth an extra few hundred dollars a day in our opinion.
Of course you expect a lot from a Four Seasons property and this Maui location delivers! The hotel grounds are lovely, the people are helpful with every request. Our 15 month old was completely pampered as well. Upon our arrival the front desk greeted my son and gave him toys which made this little traveler very happy! It didn't stop there. Once we got to our beautiful room there were special treats set up for the adults as well as for my son. They also had more toys, plush state bird and bath toys placed out for him. Our ocean view room was perfect and I could sit on my bed and watch the whales. It was magic! Downstairs the kids play area was perfect for our little one. The pools were great and you felt very pampered as the pool stewards walked around offering your water, snacks, sun screen and the like. The beach was also very nice as well and loved all of the activities readily available right at your finger tips. An addition, the fact that there is a reef w/in swimming distance from the beach was icing on this cake! Long story short this resort was absolutely perfect for this family and we can not wait to go back!
Beyond five star VIP experience! I was treated like royalty during my entire visit!
Stayed at the Four Seasons in the last week of January 2012 - 2 adults and 2 6yr olds. Stayed in a junior executive suite which had a separate living area where the kids slept at night - great size room for the 4 of us as it gave us privacy at night to watch TV/ read while the kids slept. Hotel was fabulous. Quality of the resort in terms of build and finish is exactly what you would expect from the Four Seasons. Spot on. Despite being a 450+ room "resort" style hotel, we never felt it was that big. Facilities were amazing - 4 pools, great gym, games room, nice beach, great quality restaurants, top kids club and Four Seasons service. Also very conveniently located close to South Kihei where there are lots of activities (we went surfing and stand-up paddle boarding) and restaurants so you don't have to eat in the hotel every meal. Its a fully priced hotel - so its expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. All round, probably the best hotel we have stayed in - ever. Cannot recommend more highly!
