I stayed at this little motel last fall while on a motorcycle trip. I found the room to be spacious and clean and they even had some biker magazines in the room to read. The thing I disliked the most about the room was that the tv was mounted way up by the ceiling like you were in a hospital room. It had fluorescent lighting which is kind of harsh and there were quite a few flies in the room. The owners were very nice as some others have said. I had dinner at the restaurant/western bar next door. I ordered the chicken and rib combo and it was terrible. The chicken skin was wet and gummy and the rice was the worst I've ever had - over boiled like crazy. Overall for less than $80 it was an okay place. The gas station/restaurant down on the corner was a very nice place to have breakfast. Very small town, with a hound dog on the floor, self serve coffe and no menu. You eat what they got. I'm going back to Cali in a month or so but will try someplace new

Well located in tiny town of Calabogie, this small motor inn is kept very clean and tidy and is reasonably priced. If you sleep with two pillows...make sure you bring one from home as there are no extras

We stayed at the Calabogie Motor Inn during a few track events at the Calabogie race track. The room was pleasant, spotlessly clean and the proprietors were gracious enough to stay up late to register us when we arrived. We would gladly recommend the motor inn to anyone.

What an awesome weekend! Met alot of new friends and even had family staying in the same Motel and we had a great time. Rooms and all amenities were super. As for Della and Carl ... best hosts in town! Just like being part of their family and we all felt so welcome! Have booked a weekend in October for this year and so looking forward to the huge welcome we received in past stays at the Calabogie Motor Inn. Would recommend to anyone at all, any age to take a trip to Calabogie and look up Della and Carl at the Motor Inn ... believe me, you won't be sorry!
