Enjoyed a very relaxing week in this charming hotel! The hotel and gardens are lovely. The pool area is never too busy. It’s a walk into the town of Denia, about twenty minutes but along the sea front which is very enjoyable. There is also a regular bus service. Denia is a vibrant town with lots of good places to eat and beautiful port area to sit and people watch. We took the local train to Altea which has a particularly nice old town area and is well worth a visit. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.

the perfect setting to round off 10 days of camping and travelling, a quiet backwater hotel with the beach 100 yards away (rock but good fun!!)

The bus costs 1 euro and will drop you off 2 minutes away or it's a 35-40minute walk along the coastal path (lovely). We sample the salad and some Calamari and it was lovely! Very quiet and serene, i wouldn;t recommend taking little tykes who want fish finger butties for lunch!! Nice pool too!

Perfect quiet break with easy access to Denia and the surrounding area,

Great little hotel in Denia, about a mile and a half along from the town in Las Rotas, the flat walk along the seafront is safe and very pretty.
This private hotel is very clean, nicely run and above all exceptional value for money. Out of season it was lovely and quiet, perfect for a laid-back break. We used it as a base to explore this fabulous coastline! Eating out in Denia is awesome, too many places to metion!
Would return without a doubt.

Arrived at Hotel La Racona at the third attempt - it is not easy to find first go! It is a little out of Denia at Las Rotas and you need a car to get into town where parking is a bit of a challenge especially early evening. The hotel is a bit tired and although this was early season, was very quiet. Very little English spoken by the staff, but they were friendly and helpful. Our room was pretty basic and not very big although it was adequate for our long weekend stay. Again, refurbishment cannot be too far away, but we accept the hotel only has two stars. The restaurant was supposed to have a good reputation, but did not open while we were there - perhaps it only functions in the high season? Breakfast was only average, and didn't seem to start until after 9.00am which is really a little late if you want to have an active day. There must be better value in the area!
