I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Everything was very much as expected...no major complaints. My only kind of minor complaint is there was a nice layer of dust and debris in the corners of the room, all the way around--they should use the edge attachment of the vaccum cleaner, every once in awhile, to keep the rooms from smelling old and dank, and from not looking their very best. Otherwise, the front desk personnel were very efficient at check-in. I believe they were checking in a major conference when I arrived, so the lobby was humming with excitement. They placed me in a king room on the 3rd floor (eventhough I requested a high floor). Turns out, it was ok, since the elavators are on the slow side. In general the hotel is well maintained, and updated to reflect the times. I stayed here 10 years ago, or so, and I can see that the place has been updated with trendy bars, clubs, and shops, etc. Very nice restaurants around the hotel where I ate all my meals (never ate in the hotel). There are also skywalks to the adjoining hotels, which makes it very convenient to get to other places in the immediate area. This convenience made it possible for me to walk to most places I needed to go during my business stay. I would recommend this hotel to business travellers, as well as people who are looking for a destination experience. I'm so glad I did not see a bunch of kids running around everywhere.
Room Tip: I am a status visitor, and they didn't respect all my wishes. I believe they will put you where...
