“Perfect Anniversary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2011

We stayed in the Peach Blossom Suite for our 20th Anniversary in November 2010. I got busy with the holidays and forgot to review immediately. This Craftsman B&B in the Inman Park section of Atlanta is beautiful, and we had a great weekend. Beverly knew it was our 20th Anniversary, so she gave us a bottle of champagne Saturday and spread rose petals throughout the suite. (The Suite consisted of a beautiful bedroom and private balcony/deck that received morning sun, large bath, and living room). Beverly's breakfasts were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. We walked the neighborhood and enjoyed the city. If you appreciate great old neighborhoods and also being close by to everything Atlanta offers, this is an ideal choice. We will be back.

“Fantastic way to spend our anniversary!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 June 2011

My wife and I were celebrating our 1-year anniversary and I thought it would be nice to stay at a B&B, which neither of us had ever done before... What a fun time!

We stayed in the largest room, The Peach Blossom Suite. The house was very clean and had really cool antiques in each room. Even though the house was over 100 years old, there were still several upgrades, including a very large bathroom. We had a luxury claw foot bath tub (I actually fit in it and I am 6'3") and there was also a separate shower (with no door, but it is not really needed). We also had our very own balcony that over looked the front yard and street (very romantic touch). There was also a king-size bed that was pleasantly comfortable. There was free wifi and free parking on the street or in their driveway. We didn't get a chance to try it out, but there was a basketball hoop and trampoline in the back yard.

The breakfasts started with fresh fruit and then had a combination of eggs, bacon, and another item (different each day, ex: french toast). It was very filling and delicious. It was also great to be able to set our own breakfast time, instead of being forced to wake up early and make it by the end of a buffet style breakfast that you would get in a normal hotel. The innkeeper was super helpful with telling us about nice restaurants and things to do in the area, and also sat down and talked with us for ~30 minutes to see how our previous day had gone. I was very impressed.

They added nice, unexpected touches like putting down rose petals in our room one day, and even played our song from our first dance on the piano in the living room. The customer service was top notch!

Inman Park was a great place to stay. There were several restaurants in walking distance. I highly recommend eating at Sauced and Jack's Pizza & Wings (probably the best specialized pizza I've ever eaten). The Vortex is also just a couple of miles away at Little Five Points (it's a famous restaurant famous for it's Double Bypass Burger that appeared on Man vs. Food -- of course I ate it :) ).

We had a fantastic time and made great new friends. If you are looking for a nice B&B, don't look any further than The Peach House. You won't regret it.

Room Tip: Book early!

“Clean & Quiet Retreat in Atlanta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2008

I registered so late for a large trade show in Atlanta that all hotels were full. After searching TripAdvisor I decided to contact the Peach House. I couple quick e-mails later all was set. While the photos of the Peach House are nice, they do not begin to showcase this B & B's great location, beautiful home, or warmth of the staff. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts was simple and delicious. The Peach House is located in the historic Inman Park area of Atlanta. There are blocks and blocks of beautiful old homes with wonderful landscaping. Within easy walking distance are many small restaurants and bistros. The Peach House is a 5 minute walk from the closest MARTA rail station. It is only a few minutes into downtown, the convention center or other key points in Atlanta. For $11, I was able to buy a 3-day pass that took me to and from the airport and to and from the trade show without the hastles or costs of renting a car or taxi.

In addition to the convenience and beautiful area, the feeling of warmth and comfort that owner Beverly conveys is really wonderful. If you want to stay at a place that makes you feel the warmth of home, try the Peach House.

“Fell in Love with The Peach House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2008

My boyfriend and I just returned from a 4 day/3 night stay at The Peach House. It was absolutely wonderful!! From the moment we arrived until we departed it felt like we were at home.
We stayed in the Peach Blossom Suite. Oh My God..It is breath taking!! The room is set in the 1900's and upon entering you are taken back to that romantic period. The decor was beautiful and tastefully done throughout the suite. The veranda was wonderful and added to the romantic feeling of the room. The bathroom was perfect for a couple. His and Her's sink, a vanity, and the tub...an antique, claw foot tub that was beautiful. Overall, I fell in love with the room!!
Throughout the home you can see the attention to detail Beverly and Carl have put into their B&B. It is absolutely beautiful! The location is wonderful given the airport is minutes away, the neighborhood is lined with these beautiful older homes and yet close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer. The Peach House is truly a treasure within Atlanta.
Beverly, Carl and Varie made the two of us feel like family and this day and age that speaks volumes. True southern hospitality! I can not wait to return!!!!!

“Wonderful hospitality...beautiful area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2007

I spent almost 2 weeks at The Peach House. It felt like home. I missed my Sweet Auburn Room when I arrived back home in Australia.

This family treated me like a family member. An experience of real genuine Southern Hospitality.

My room was huge. I loved the windows. I loved that huge old maple tree outside my window. The big front porch was a nice quiet relaxing place to sit and read.

The neigborhood has the most gorgeous homes with lovely gardens. It was such a pleasure to simply walk around the blocks and feel the cool shade of the treelined streets.

Very close to MARTA, and good restaurents. Make sure you go to Shauns, and The Grape. Both within walking distance.

The owner really shows that she cares for the safety and wellbeing of her guests. Insisted that I call if arriving home later than 9pm. She offered to pick me up from MARTA.

I look forward to staying at The Peach House in 2009. I want to share the experience with my husband this time.

Peach House.....I love you.

Aussie.
