I spent 3 nights at Loews and it was a delight after staying at the W just up the street last month. Lobby and halls are bright and well-lit, and in the evening there's a pleasant buzz of conversation from guests enjoying drinks downstairs.

The room ($190/night) had a king sized bed with bright lights (I have to keep repeating that after the dark room at the W), free wifi, flat screen TV in bedroom and bathroom, and a decent sized desk for in-room working. Bathroom had a shower with glass enclosure and separate tub, and "Bamboo Creme" toiletries.

Used room service twice. Both times they quoted a 30 minute delivery and did just that. Fresh salad with candied pecans and pomegranate came with two mini muffins. BBQ salmon was cooked as ordered and the side of cheese grits was rich and cheesy! Expect a $3.50 delivery fee plus automatic 22% gratuity atop menu prices. Wines by the glass ranged from $8 to $13 and come in a glass tumbler rather than classic stemware. An assortment of breads comes with dinner entrees. They were slow to remove the dinner tray so after 2 calls I lugged it into the hallway.

Rooms were quiet with little noise seepage from adjacent rooms. My in-room checkout didn't work but I called the front desk and they had the bill waiting and ready.

7 minutes and you're on 75/85 freeway. You can walk to good restaurants nearby, and there's a gym and spa in the hotel. Definitely will come back.

Stayed here for four nights during a recent conference. The rooms were nice, large with good bathrooms (separate shower and bath). Hotel was clean and friendly and food during the conference was good and varied.

I had the extreme pleasure of staying at the Loews Atlanta Hotel four five days this past week on business. Not only was I impressed with the hotel itself (decor, cleanliness, location) but I could not have been happier with the employees and staff there. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and more than eager to assist me with any questions I had. I was particularly impressed with Jonathan Vendrick, the Concierge/VIP Manager. I have never, in all of my 65 years of travels and hotel stays had a concierge go so much out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect. I would ask about attractions and restaurants, he would help me to decide (within my time frame) the best places to go. He called several places to make sure that I could make the most out of my trip. He had gift certificates for me from local restaurants and attractions and brochures galour. He was the most caring concierge I have ever met. And, this was genuine!!

Only stayed for one night on a trip from London to Tennessee (wanted to visit the JD distillery), wish I had been here for longer. Beautiful hotel!
Got into my room to find a mixed cheese plate and welcome card....always a nice start to any trip. Bed was super comfy and rooms well insulated - no disturbances from the corridor outside.
In the morning, I bumped into the some of the friendliest concierge I have ever met (Jonathon & Wende) who recommended an amazing breakfast place. They also lent me a UK-USA plug adapter to keep my laptop going. Give these guys gold stars!

Two (very minor) negatives...
1. The bar area was super packed (mid-week) and getting a drink was an effort - I had one (an amazing/strong long island) then decided to check out other bars in the city.
2. The showers in the rooms are so outdated and the pressure isn't great.

Not much else to say other than, if you go, I'm pretty sure you will love it!
