We read the reviews on trip advisor and expected a grand hotel stay in luxury settings. In fact, we ended up with a room with an uncomfy bed and a disabled bathroom which was more hospital than luxury! The owners were not very friendly and we had to help ourselves to drinks as they were understaffed most of the day. we would rather have saved our money and gone for somewhere cheaper! I think that this is suited better to older couples as we are in our late twenties. The food, particularly breakfast, was the best that we have tasted though and our waiter, Luca, was a super star - he was so helpful and friendly

- We are really surprised because of your disappointment: in fact the room in which you stayed (number 103) is the room you chose: in our web site you found all our rooms and for everyone there are 4 pictures and the plan, included the plan of the bathroom. The #103 is one of the two rooms in our hotel that has the bathroom equipped for the disabled, as per Italian laws.
WE RECEIVE ALL OUR GUESTS WITH THE SAME PLEASURE, ATTENTION AND CARE AND WE ABHOR ANY KIND OF RACISM!
- You say that Palazzo Grande is a place for old people. We repeat the same of above: ALL THE GUESTS ARE WELCOME and WE DO NOT CHOSE WHO IS COMING. Would you please notice that Palazzo Grande is not an holiday village or an amusement park.
- You brought two friends of yours to our private swimming pool, without informing us and it would be correct from you: would you please notice that most hotels charge for it and you didn't pay anythig for this service.
- After having stayed in our private swimming pool, you brought (always without informing us) your friends to your room in our hotel to take a shower: would you please notice that Palazzo Grande is not a public bath and around the swimming pool there are four changing- rooms with showers.

We wish you to find in the future a place more suitable to you and your habits.

“Fantastic stay at Palazzo Grande”

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel rooms are very stylish and spacious with lovely bathrooms. We also like the swimming pool, which we virtually had to ourselves. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Be sure to book your dinner ahead as the restaurant in the hotel is not open every day but there is a great restaurant called 'El Convento' 5 minutes away in Corciano.

“Loveliest small hotel in all of Umbria”

A little hard to find, W of Perugia and N of the highway, but well worth it for beautiful and elegant surroundings indoors and out. Comfortable bed, all mod cons, AC, delightful pool, charming host. Zero complaints!
