“Expensive and in need of refurbishment”

This hotel is in a spectacular position and the price we paid for half board made me expect a much better in shape place. The place is tatty and desperatly needs some renovation. Staff was friendly and the food was fine. I got the impression that the lack of competition with other hotels made this one too expensive for what it was. Ustica is a tiny island and there is not a lot of other places to go to. When we went in September most other places were already shut.
