Harding House is a true gem for a great value. The location is wonderful as is a short walk to Harvard square. It has loads of character. Free off-road parking which is hard to find around Boston. Unbelievably helpful staff. They helped print my boarding passes, provided maps of Harvard and directions to the airport, and arranged for a bag breakfast to be waiting for us in the morning as we had a very early departure time. We had a ground floor room with a very comfortable queen bed with private bath. All was very clean and well decorated. This was the perfect place to stay.

We love this place,,,and would recommend to our friends ! Always something to eat or to drink. Very good breakfast ! A nice wine and cheese on thurdsay 6 o,clock, good to meet other people. We are able to walk to Harvard (15 minutes) and too, good restaurant on Cambridge street, 15 minutes too ! Nice to put the car in the Hotel ground. Very nice hostess to explain us what we want. and when it's raining, they let us umbrellas ! Very good bed and quiet to sleep around.

The room was smaller than all B&Bs I have stayed in. Nicely appointed but small. Breakfast starts at 7:15 - too late for most business travelers, including me, so i cannot rate the food at all. The ironing boards are those small table top types, making it difficult to complete the job well. They need to invest in a real ironing board. Do not ask for a receipt if you reserve online. They will not give you one no matter how many times or how you ask. Location near Central Square is ok. I got a good rate, so the value overall was pretty good, but I certainly would not stay here again, even with a good rate.

The B&B was excellent during my long stay for an internship at MIT (50 days). In five minutes you take the subway and in ten minute you arrive in the center of Boston. You are also next to the Harvard University (only one stop from Central). Free Internet Access and possibility to use a PC in the main room. I lived for 4 weeks in the suite room: it is big and very well-equipped; and for 3 weeks in an other room very confortable. In this period the breakfast each morning was scrumptious. And every one at the front-desk was wonderful. The prices were not expensive in consideration of the position and the service.
