The Harding House is a little gem in Cambridge, a beautiful historic home that's secluded yet in the middle of everything this area has to offer. We stayed here for two nights for our Babymoon for a little adult time without our toddler before baby number two arrives. Everything was so perfect. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast with great variety, walking distance to Harvard Yard and the area's best restaurants.
We used wi-fi in the room to keep up with business but mostly just relaxed and took lots of naps. We really liked that we parked our car for free (spots were available because it was a midweek stay) and didn't have to use it while there - we walked to our lunch and dinner spots. I loved the 24/7 availability of healthy snacks, being pregnant there isn't a time I'm not hungry! The service was complete, warm - yet unobtrusive. It felt like staying at the home of a gracious host. I would highly recommend it for couples and even families with kids. I liked that we got to get away, yet it was only a 40 minute drive from our house north of Boston, the drive didn't feel like forever. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the loud air conditioning, but we figured out that if you turn the unit on 'fan only' the air is almost as cold and a lot quieter, so it wasn't a big deal.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary two night stay at Harding House during the launch of their Babymoon Special for an editorial feature on Eco-Babyz.
