Ok. Let's not knock it completely. The owners are good people - friendly & kind. But I owe it to my fellow travellers to give you an idea of what to expect. If you think you're paying the price for a clean, modern, airy, well-managed B&B... well, think again. Rather, the words: musty, overcrowded, and dated come to mind. The best thing about the place is its location. But I gotta be honest and say I wouldn't even return for that.

Sounded nice on the website.... DO NOT believe everything you read! It reminded me of a run down boarding house. Dumpy rooms and a dumpy bathroom (1 for the whole house). On top of that, it was not the cleanest or tidiest place I have EVER seen! The outside looked unmaintained and unloved. We walked out upon inspection, it was a deal breaker. ALWAYS read all the reviews before making you decision!

I stayed here overnight with my daughter when we were in town for college visits. It was nice to stay somewhere that felt like a home, not a hotel. We were made to feel very at home, and made ourselves cups of tea whenever we wanted in the kitchen. Sue made us a great breakfast in the morning. The location is great - very close to Harvard and Harvard Square.

I really enjoyed being at A B&B in Cambridge. My husband was recuperating at Spaulding Rehab Hospital just up the street so this was a perfect location for me. I was so well cared for. sharing the bathroom never seemed a problem. And my two replaced knees benefited by all the stair climbing! Breakfasts were a treat: always fresh fruit and such grand pancakes, johnny cakes, waffles, crepes. I should have worked out a schedule rre changing sheets. I also had some good walks all around the area. And the three owners are sheer delights; I was treated as part of the family.
