I have stayed in this hotel because my office is located just a short 10 minutes walk from this hotel and I would definitely recommend it. I have stayed there a couple of times and I would definitely stay there again
The hotel is magnificent and beautifully restored. The rooms are spacious and look like they are from the 18th century's country villa. All rooms have wired internet and very spacious bathrooms. All shower gels, shampoos and soaps are provided.
Breakfast is simple and normally included in the room rate: fruit, muesli, yogurt and a couple of different types of pastries. You can also have freshly brewed coffee. We have also had one of our meals in the same restaurant and while the food was great, the service was a bit slow.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful: I had some health problems during my stay that required a hotel doctor to be called as well as a drive to the nearest pharmacy to get my prescription and the hotel helped with both and their driver took me to the pharmacy.
This is definitely not a hotel for tourists: the drive to the city of Milan takes around 20 minutes and if there is a traffic jam it will cost you around 40 euro (normally around 15 euro without traffic). However, if your business is in Sesto San Giovanni, do stay in this hotel

This hotel adds joy to business travel. The rooms are clean, well equipped and spatious. The rooms and other spaces breathe history - this is one of the rare hotels where history and luxury are well combined.
Breakfast is excellent. The staff is very professional.
One note (not costing any points though): the sound isolation is not ideal, so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

Wonderful place to stay away from Milan's frenetic activity. This is a superior establishment which offers real value. Restaurant is fine with excellent service. Too bad there is no wifi in the room, to consult your ipad you must be in the front desk foyer.

Stayed here twice now, both times impressed. The rooms are spacious, clean, well furnished and slightly quirky, which is a refreshing change.
The restaurant food is absolutely fabulous - a tad expensive - but a pure indulgence, both in terms of the food, service and surroundings.
I will stay here again - only gripe is the lack of wireless in the rooms.
