The comtur hotel feels like it may have been a nice hotel a little while back, and deserving of it's 4 stars at that time. We booked the hotel knowing it was outside Milan, so we weren't unhappy with the location.

However, the hotel, and the staff, felt tired and rundown. It felt like a ghost town and the only reason we know other people were staying there was because there was not a whole lot of breakfast left. While the complimentary breakfast was good to see, and the hot food unexpected. However, if you want to do a breakfast, do it right. The scrambled eggs had obviously been cooked at 7:00am, and were still in the bain marie, with no heat underneath, at 9:15am. The bacon was similar, except it hadn't been cooked so much as burnt. The cold European style breakfast was good though.

No mention of free wireless that others have said was available.

We found a great local pizza place for dinner though, called non solo, just at the other end of Binasco. Recommend this definitely.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days while visiting our son doing an elective in Pavia. The staff were very helpful and polite at all times and when we had difficulties with our hire car they arranged a local mechanic, contacted the hire firm and supported us through a very difficult 3 days trailing to and fro from Milan. Deborah spoke excellent English and came in to help us when off duty. Osman, the manager,was intent on making our stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.
The rooms were very good value, clean, comfortable and of good size with compact en suite facilities. The general areas were clean and all areas and rooms were very comfortable with efficient air conditioning.

Really worthy. The personal at reception were great. They helped us in everything regarding the hotel, the village and the way to move in Milan. The hotel itself is cozy, very good breakfast, nice rooms, free parking and the free wireless was a really appreciated extra. We'll return for sure when in the area.

Very comfortable. Fine rooms. Friendly staff, always ready after your needs. The price we paid really worth it.
