Clean and well-maintained, based on our experience rooms are adequate size with modern shower rooms en-suite. Several ground floor rooms and small apartments just outside the main hotel. Hotel is quite small and family-run, staff are friendly but few speak any English. French is more commonly understood. Breakfast adequate but you need to ask for capucchino or americano to get decent coffee. Close to the very pleasant 'lungomare' but not on the front. Hotel has a bar which does front onto the lungomare with quite high prices and not much choice of drinks at the end of the season. Convenient location for strolling to Diano Marino or visiting Cervo. A very good pizzeria nearby on other side of main road if not eating in hotel, otherwise not much choice in San Bartolomeo. Not sure I would visit this area in high season but it's delightful in low season.
