We've stayed at La Q in different states before, including the SW one in Omaha, and found them to be generally average. We wanted to stay at this NW one because it was closer to family that we were visiting for 3 nights in a row and there wasn't much once you get away from downtown. Although it has a tricky access, it was not hard to find. The photos are pretty accurate, although why anyone thinks those color combinations are inviting is beyond me. As one reviewer stated, it is an older motel that is in the process of being updated, so take that into account. For example, our room had a flat screen TV that worked well, although the only light switch in the bathroom controlled both lights and the ventilation fan - which rattled loudly non-stop. The towels are rough, the coffee maker was one of those one-cup-at-a-time jobs (annoying for more than one person), and the sheets were worn (one actually had a small tear in it). On the upside, the room was clean, stocked, no bugs and quiet. The staff was friendly, the parking lot clean, and the La Q "brightside" breakfast, while nothing exciting, was attractively set up and always stocked. So, for about half the price of other nearby motels, this one was certainly worth the outdated accomodations.
