So much was wrong with our stay, I will try to get it all in. We were there for a baseball tournament. The cost online was $60 a night average - we were charged twice that at $120 per night. We were required to pay in advance even for a 4th night, even if we didn't need it. The front desk person "Nani" made deals with several guests to refund their 4th night but not others. The hotel itself was not renovated. It was dirty and worn. The carpets were dirty and the elevator felt unsafe and rickety. One of our team mate's families had urine on the toilet when they checked in that stayed on the toilet even after the maids came in to "clean"! Some put "do not disturb" signs on their doors, but maids came in anyway. The "pull out" sofa bed sank so far in the center so that our son had to sleep with his dad and I. The "continental breakfast" had squishy bananas and stale muffins. The "make your own" waffles weren't bad. My son left his jewelry by the pool. I called the front desk and "Jack" told me 'no nothing was turned in.' Then I went to the front desk and asked in person. "Nani" said no, nothing was turned in. So I asked to please speak to the head of housekeeping or maintenance, whoever cleans up at the pool at night. "Nani" told me "ok, but there isn't anything here." I asked to talk to her to be sure. Sure enough, the woman told "Nani" that there was stuff left in a desk and it was my son's jewelry. Had I not been insistent, it wouldn't have been returned. There was just an overall incompetence in the front desk staff that make the stay even more difficult. Speaking of the pool, it was small and only had one depth which was 3 feet. The laundry facilities were $1.50 per wash and dry. It is a closet sized room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. NOT good to accommodate large groups with lots of dirty uniforms. We were told the Comfort Inn across the street was a better choice so we'll look into staying there if we're ever in Omaha again. Don't waste your time or money on this hotel.
