As mentioned in previous reviews, this hotel has major problems delivering any hot water for morning showers (this is STILL not addressed???)...and the hotel was down to one very slow elevator working both days we stayed there...with TWO large groups at the hotel. Long long waits at the elevator were common for many.
Both of these problems with this hotel have been mentioned in previous reviews and one has to wonder why these issues have not yet been addressed.
Nothing ruins a stay like an ice cold morning shower.

We would like to Thank you for choosing the Hotel Deco XV during your time in Omaha. Our goal is to provide the best service for all our guests and I apologize for your concerns.
I would like to assure you that we take each comment seriously and can share that we are addressing all items you mentioned.
The elevators were original to the historic building and we started replacing in Fall 2010. This is a lengthy process, however Elevator 2 is brand new. We are operating and open during this construction and apologize for any inconvenience but I can tell you Elevator 1 is about halfway complete and will be ready early spring. This should alleviate congestion.
The hot water had been addressed since the last comment you refer to and we took the proper steps as advised via experts in the field but we feel this needs some more attention and we are scheduled for new items in this department as well.
I appreciate you taking the time to bring your concerns to my attention. It is with comments by you, our guest, we can continue to improve upon our service.

“Hotel Deco Omaha”
Traveling through town for work we decided to stay at Hotel Deco. As a tour manager there can be a lot of specifics for the rooms of my clients and VP of Sales and Experience, Katy Adams, was truly amazing - constantly going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our stay was an exceptional one. I highly suggest this hotel to anyone heading to Omaha.

“Superior Staff, Location and Accomodations”
This hotel was recommended by my wife’s cousin and what a gem it is. This is a fully restored older building with beautiful rooms and a very accommodating staff. It is historic and gives you a feel of stepping back in time. If you are looking for something different than the usual cookie cutter hotels then this is place for you.

“Brilliant -a great hotel.”
Worth staying. Wonderful rooms. Close to great places to get a drink or have a nice dinner. Easy airport access.

“One of the Nicest hotels in Omaha/Midwest”
I travel a lot and stay in hotels/motels over 270 days a year. I must say that I do enjoy staying at the deco!!!!!!! The staff and the General manager are some of the best I have seen in 25 plus years of travel . They are very professional and kind in dealing with there guests. The service is five star always.
If your planning on a visit to Omaha or council Bluffs . I strongly recommend the Deco Hotel.
