Our two night stay while home for Christmas was awesome. I was pleasantly surprised by the Sundowners' Reception which happens Tuesday through Thursday evenings. Free beer, wine and a "light dinner", nachoes the night we took advantage of it, in their comfy dining/lounge area. Fireplace, multiple types of seating, a very cosy setting. The breakfast was typical fare, including the "make your own" Belgian waffles and tasty. The granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchenette were very lovely. The decor is just lovely. The bed and pillows were very soft and comfy. Really nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Worth the $265 my mom and dad paid for the two nights:) Pool is nice. Free entertainment in the form of movies to borrow to watch in your room or to view in their theater area. You could have two meals a day there and easy access to a grocery store and plenty of ways to cook in your room, but it didn't smell at all in the hall like cooking. Really exceptional for this type of property.
