“Amazing Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

While we don't live far away we keep finding reasons to return! The green elements of the hotel are fantastic, the location, including the lovely green grocery next door and dog park close by is just fantastic. I would stay at Element Hotels in every city if they were available.

Room Tip: Every room I have seen or heard about was great! The "w" beds are great.

Thank you for staying with us even though you don't live far! Thank you also for taking time to submit a review of our hotel. The Element brand does do a great job with their green aspects and if you would like to know the other Elements and their locations, please let us know the next time you stay with us.

Thanks again.

“Great location. Cool hotel. Will come back....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

I didn't experience any of the service issues commented on by other guests. The staff was efficient (not friendly, but efficient) during my interactions with them. Were I to make suggestions for improvement I would start with a friendlier staff, but it wasn't a huge deal either. I'd also suggest more fresh food options for breakfast. I kind of expected more from a Starwood Property, but maybe they aren't expecting breakfast eaters.

Good overall hotel, though. Great location & really cool interior layout.

“GREAT customer service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

This hotel has become my home away from home. Great midtown location in the middle of lots of great restaurants, lounges and a movie theater all in walking distance. Love the kitchenette in every room, with a gourmet grocery store available just on the other side of the parking garage. A very "green" hotel with the most cozy beds ever. Lovely spa shower in every room, every thing is just fresh and clean. Love that my little toy yorkie is welcomed here also and the doggie treats at the front door are very thoughtful. I will not stay anywhere else in Omaha, and it's the only place i have guests stay when visiting me in Omaha. Element has spoiled us! Kudos to the staff!

Room Tip: overlooking the park

“Loved the Stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

TWO NIGHTS. Saturday and Sunday. The Location is just of 480 and is 2 miles from Downtown.

Check-in: swift and pleasant. I don't need anything other than the room key! The front desk was quick and engaging. No issues at all. They explained the Hotel and the area and the parking etc. 8.00 night parking with in-out privildges. The Westin in Denver is 28.00 a night. I know. I used to work there.

ROOM: was a big Wow! when I walked in. Bathroom: amazing. Clean. Plenty of good quality towels and personal items. You couldnt fault it at all.

BEDROOM/S area: again Wow! the kitchen was a big shock. Everything you could want. I wasnt there on business or making an extended stay but if I were. I would be staying here. SUPER! The bed was a pillow top...and wow! again. A GREAT ROOM. The Hotel was built in 2010 or so I was told. So, its not a cheap plaster board separation between rooms. Its brick and conceret and QUIET! Other than the annoying " principle" of other guests not closing their room door but allwoing then to slam shut! This isnt the Hotel fault. Its the guests and its universal. Any hotel the same.

BREAKFAST: didnt get up early enough- I made coffee in my room and had some things anyways. I did notice that behind the Front Desk is an amenities area where you can purchase food and drinks and even wine!

Shuttle: I knew that I would be Downtown on Saturday night and didnt want to drink and drive. The front desk confirmed a ride with the shuttle for me. The guy drove ME to the downtown. I gave him a tip for doing so. Only fair. I got a cab back. 8.00 cab. On this iussue of cabs in Omaha...Ask the bar/restaurant to get a cab for you as there doesnt seem to be a cab stand or area for cabs in the downtown area. Its rather random. The Sunday night I walked back to the Hotel straight up Dodge Street.. I am a male. Women on their own should not as its a hike up hill and at one point through an " iffy" area at night. Means, no one else was on the street.

Hotel is in the MIDTOWN CROSSING AREA of 480. This is a modern/upscale area with bars/restuarants etc. Its VERY modern. Nice clean area.

This was a GREAT STAY. GREAT HOTEL.

Room Tip: 614 Great room. I think they all are.

“I wanted to like it, but....”

Housekeeping HAS to improve. Both my co-worker and I got back to our room at 7 PM to find no housekeeping. Asked about it at the front desk and they were clueless that our room was not cleaned. Housekeeper came to make up room, but bed wasn't made.

Bed is super comfortable. if we were staying longer the full kitchen would be great.

Room service is from a local resturant, but they can't charge to your room??? (Hint, that's just resturant delivery, not room service )

Evening drinks/food and breakfast were nice.
