Pros: Great service at desk, well appointed and comfortable suite, price was reasonable, room was quiet, room service was excellent, parking was easy, bed was great, heating was great and quiet, coffee was great, Omaha, USA Today and Wall Street Journal newspapers, well located, shower was wonderful, wireless worked fine, lighting was bright. Excellent value.
Stayed here for a meeting at Omaha Tower and was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They were very modern with a small couch that I think folded out into a twin bed. Staff was excellent, room service was quick and the burger was very good. A short walk got you to the Askarben village which had a few places to eat and an excellent cupcake shop. Slightly beyond that was Amato restaurant with excellent blueberry ricotta pancakes (featured recently on man vs food).
As a road warrior I have spent over a 1000 nights in Marriotts all over the world. For a business traveler the Courtyard product has evolved into a great product. I've stayed at this property four times in the last couple of years and each time the stay has been flawless. There is easy access to Interstate 80 and downtown Omaha with the Old Market is only about 15 minutes away. This hotel works whether you are there for business or there with a family.
I'll be back.
We went during the college world series. Our boys played a tournament as well. We enjoyed ourself at the hotel. They were kid friendly. Would go back again.
