“Eco-Chic & Centrally Located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

We loved the luxurious and centrally-located Hyatt at Olive 8. As the first LEED certified hotel in Seattle, Olive 8 offers chic, modern rooms with iPod docking stations, an indoor-pool and eco-friendly spa and restaurant. We highly recommend this property! arrivalstravel.com

“A great hotel with the best gym and spa in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

I come to Seattle often and have stayed at various hotels. This was my 4th or 5th stay at Hyatt Olive 8. It's not your typical large Hyatt, but rather more like a boutique hotel. The rooms are really nice. Large showers, comfotable beds and very eco friendly. The gym and spa are two of the highlights there. The location is great and the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. This is now my only choice for Seattle. Urbane restaurant in the lobby is excellent, and if you are a seafood lover, especially raw bar, the Blueacre restaurant one block away is the place to go for $1 oysters happy hour every day!

Room Tip: The corner rooms, with big windows and extra space is worth the cost of the upgrade.

“Very impressed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I was incredibly impressed with my stay here. The fitness center was huge and seemed brand new. My room was spacious and luxurious, and came with a robe. The staff was friendly, and the concierge fantastic. The restaurant was delicious.

Two minor complaints: the spa is really expensive, and there is no gift shop or easy way to get a quick snack or bottle of water (they might have built one since my stay).

“If you are travelling to Seattle, stay here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I stayed at the Hyatt at Olive 8 for 2 nights in January 2012. I loved just about every aspect of this hotel. It was my first trip to Seattle and I would not stay anywhere else next time I come to town. The location is awesome. It's easily within walking distance to many attractions downtown, including the Pike Place Market. It's very close to many great restaurants and shopping. I'd recommend Andaluca and Lola restaurants, both located on 4th street.

The hotel had a small hotel feel to it. It didn't feel like a hotel from a large chain. It had a boutique style to it. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. It felt new and modern. The service is also very good and I only had pleasant encounters with the hotel staff.

I stayed in a suite and it was phenomenal. It was huge and had everything you could possibly want in a room (and more!) It had 3 TVs (including one in the bathroom) and 2 bathrooms! The sleep quality was excellent. Super comfortable beds and very quiet rooms.

I had a 30 minute massage in the hotel spa and it was excellent. The massage therapist really listed to what I requested and accommodated me.

My only issue with the hotel was with the in-room internet. The service was spotty and crashed a few times.

I also had breakfast at Urbane and it was good, though a bit overcooked. I would eat there again though.

Overall, an excellent stay. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

“Nice to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

Stayed there last year and we had a suite. Very spacious and close to the centre of Seattle. The only thing we didn´t like was the breakfast. This restaurant wasn´t Hyatt owned. Very poor breakfast and also the staff wasn´t perfect in their attention.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor.
