“First class hotel and location”

This hotel has it all. Great location and amenities. In Seattle over Thanksgiving and enjoyed warm hospitality in their spacious lobby, complimentary mulled drinks and comfortable ambiance. Rooms were very clean, modern, and quiet. Easy access to light rail transportation 1 block from hotel and walking distance to shopping and Pike St. Market., We would definitely stay again.

“Treated Like Royalty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We stayed at the Monaco late last December. When I called to make the reservation I casually mentioned to the central booking agent that it was our anniversary. Honestly, I didn't do this to curry favor. When we arrived the receptionist mentioned our anniversary and gave us a room upgrade. It was unexpected and delightful as well. It was a room with a sitting area, plush and spacious. That evening a bottle of champagne and chocolates showed up in our room! Beyond that, every employee that we met, without exception, seemed genuinely interested in making our stay better. They also had a wine tasting social that was extremely well done with healthy pours. Stem to stern our stay was wonderful.

Thanks for your note! Reminds me of the old margarine commercial where someone bites into a sandwich and a crown appears! Our goal is to have every guest walk out of here feeling like that was the best hotel experience they have had in a long time. Great to read that we hit the mark with you!

“Great location and excellent value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Monaco Seattle. The location was perfect. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The decor of our room gave it a very homey feel. Loved siting in the lobby in the morning by the window and watch the city wake up. The restaurant was very good with excellent wait staff, especially John. Very easy to walk to wherever we wanted to go. Pike Place, movie theaters and downtown shopping just a few blocks away. Several excellent restaurants also within easy walking distance.

I think our location is one of our strengths, guests staying with us can walk to almost every important aspect of the city of Seattle, but also not face those crazy Seattle hills. We are on the right side of the freeway and even close enough to the stadium to cheer on the M's!
thanks for the note!

“Felt like home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

My business trip to Seattle felt a little like being at a friend's house because of the warm, homey atmosphere at the Hotel Monaco. My other co-workers stayed across the street at the W and were turned off by the corporate feel and dark, cold surroundings there. I had free internet (thanks to becoming and on the spot Kimpton rewards member), free wine every night (not high end, just casual), and free $10 from the mini-bar. The robes were cozy, the room was warm and had the feel of an international traveler's home. The restaurant was amazing! Fresh, local food, including oysters and the best polenta I have ever had. You can walk to Pike Place and most downtown offices and shopping. The staff was very helpful and suggested a town car to the airport my early morning trip back instead of the cab for the same price. Complementary umbrellas for walks at night and a little doggie chalkboard in the back with names of doggie guests were a nice touch.

Room Tip: Back of the hotel does not have a view but is very quiet.

“Cute Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I stayed at Hotel Monaco while on business. The property was located not to far from my office and close to the downtown shopping area , famous pike place market and restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful. Room service was fast, the food was hot and good. Also, the restaurant in the hotel is amazing!

The rooms are spacious, I had a monte carlo suite (way to big for 1 person) that had a king size bed, flat screen TV, as well as a sitting are with a couch, chair, desk and yet another flat screen! The plush jungle theme robe are an added plus! There was even turn down service in the evening complete with chocolate!

Great place if you are visiting the Seattle area.
