This Pierre & Vacances property is in a suburb of Douarnenez called Treboul. It's right on the Sables Blanc beach with direct access from the pool area. Most of the self-catering apartments have views of the pool & beach, but we had an apartment at the front of the building, overlooking the tennis courts.

The apartments are spacious, spotless and very well equipped, although there is NO linen change or housekeeping. You are responsible for making beds daily and cleaning the apartment before you check out (which is 10am on a Saturday). The reception is open every day except Wednesday from 09.00-12.00 and 17.00-20.00. Sunloungers are free & the pool is large and well maintained. There is a laundry facility in the basement - use of the washing machine is €5 and the dryer is €3 with tokens available for purchase at reception.

There is a public car park opposite the entrance which is free of charge, but fills up very quickly. For a fee of €7 per day, you can park in the private underground carpark of the apartments which we found to be a far better option - it has direct access via lift to all floors of the building

Treboul itself is quiet but lovely. There's a great bar with free WIFI & internet access across from the apartments called Bar Mercure with a fabulous restaurant called L'Etage on the first floor. There's also 3-4 other restaurants & bars in the immediate area & you are 10 minutes stroll to the port area.

Douarnenez is perfectly situated about 50 minutes south of Brest and 20 minutes east of Quimper so is very accessible for all sights & attractions. There are plenty of stores & supermarkets in the area
