We liked everything about this place. The hostess was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. Excellent lanai and garden. The owner has put a lot of thought into making our stay comfortable: beach towels and chairs, boogey boards, small kitchenette on lanai, fresh fruit… This was the best stay of our trip. Much better than the Marriot we stayed in later in Waikoloa.

We stayed in the Orchid suite which was beautiful. Very spacious, high ceilings, large kitchen, very clean overall and everyday. The owners were so friendly and helpful with everything. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Location was nice in that it was far from alot of traffic, but it also meant it was about a 15 minute drive to get anywhere. But the seclusion and peace and quiet were worth it.

My wife and I had booked two nights immediately ahead of our one week resort accommodation in Kona. We occupied the Pineapple Suite which was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nanette, and Anne take pride in providing a quiet and comfortable stay for their guests. Adequate cooking appliances and equipment is provided with the suite, including a welcome package of basics for the first morning''s breakfast. For the enjoyment of the many beaches, they provide boogie boards, noodles, beach chairs etc.. Even though we did not have the need to use it, free laundry is provided for the guests. Restaurants and shopping is available in Kailua Kona, within a five to ten minute drive. On our next visit to the Big Island, we are sure to plan for a longer stay at this charming guest house. This place I thought was a great place but with other guests next door , we realized soon enough that the walls were not sound proof. Unfortunately you can hear everything across next door. The owners keep the place clean . Everything is far away. You need a car every time you go out. You will stay in a residential area in higher altitude, so no A/C is needed. The room we had was called the Plumeria. You will have a mini-fridge and no oven. You have a balcony facing the ocean where you can watch beautiful sunsets. There are pros- and cons. I give it a 7/10
