The Payerbacherhof Hotel is an undiscovered gem and I am loath to put it out there but here goes. Payerbach is a tiny town on the rail line from Vienna to the Semmering one hour from Vienna. The hotel is within walking distance of the station and anyone who loves trains, walking, outdoors, tranquility and eating must go there. The rooms are spotless some older some new. The staff make it and the Food you have to go half board for the best experience of your life at ridiculous prices. Positively the best experience I have had in thirty years travelling.
