I know this Pension VERY well and all my friends stay in it when they visit us here in the Rax Alps. Over all the other Pensions/hotels in the area Payerbacherhof is the most friendly and everyone is made to feel welcome. Heinz and Ina do everything they can to make sure guests are happy while not being too 'in your face'. The food is excellent - my partner and I eat there quite often. If you want small, cosy, in the heart of the 'village' so you have direct access to transport, the river, the mountains without having to get in a taxi then the Payerbacherhof really can't be beaten. There is also a newly built spa/sauna area and there are also apartments for a bit more of a D.I.Y holiday. ENJOY
