Had another great break with the family at the Sporthotel from 22nd to 29th January. Special thanks to Gunther and Walter in helping me out with a dental emergency, and to Murat and co for looking after us so well.

Superb hotel, great atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic food and the accommodation was excellent. We'll be back next year. :-)

This was our first skiing holiday and the Sport Hotel certainly added to the experience. The location is perfect, 5mins from the slopes, in fact we skied to the front door most evenings. The leisure facilities are a welcome haven at the end of a long day on the slopes. The swimming pool, sauna, stream room and plunge got lots of use. The staff are very friendly and the food it top class, particularly on the Gala evening (7 courses). Our room was comfortable, if a little dated. Although I understand that a number of rooms have been refurbished (I would ask for a refurbished room). This is just a small matter and it did not, in any way, detract from our stay. We would recommend the Sport Hotel.

I couldnt give this hotel enough praise. Warm friendly atmosphere, the evening meals are excellent, The staff are really helpful and nice in particular Murat. That includes the very hands on owner Gunther Gatt in my opinion. The hotel is in a perfect position and so close to the slopes we were able to ski right to the door. It has a beautiful pool with steam room and sauna. The rooms were cleaned everyday. Even the night porter was extremely helpful in getting me a ice pack when i injured my leg. They were nothing but helpful. St Johann is a beautiful place with many beautiful sights. When ski'ing, i would opt for the blue ski school, They are very friendly particularly 'Tini' who has the patience of a saint with the learner ski'iers ike me. All in all it is a wonderful, active holiday that i will definetly take again, the sooner the better. And it will be the sport hotel that i will be returning to. (If i had to add one tiny negative it would be that there could be a tiny bit more variety for breakfast. They do have cereals and bread and toast but for a hot breakfast its bacon and eggs and that is it. I would like a bit more on the hot side) other than this its perfect.
