Just got back from a long weekend at the Staffler. So pleased we chose this place! Whilst basic but clean it is the perfect place to enjoy some time in beautiful Niederau. The evening meals were very tasty and filling but it is the warmth of welcome and general hospitality of Yana and Nick that make this place. Most hotelliers would do well to experience this place to see what hospitality looks like!! Well done and thank you - We'll be back

The staffler is a basic hotel with exceptional staff and food. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is second to none. I went skiing there 21st Jan for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. The cave bar is a must but if you are over 40 you probably won't manage more than 1 night down there :-)
Nick and Yana are fantastic hosts and the rest of the staff are always willing to have a quick chat to make you feel welcome.
I would like to think i will be going back next year or at worst the year after

Spent three nights at the Staffler - Jan 2012 - great location, great service, great food and over all an excellent atmosphere. This is good honest accommodation where the emphasis is on friendliness and making the most of the skiing. The hotel is on the doorstep of some lovely slopes and a short bus/taxi ride from a vast array of skiing if you want more than the Local runs.
Our booking was Fri to Mon which was ideal, and bookings are as flexible as you need, which is fantastic.
Very easy to get to, we flew to Munich and hired a car - about 1.5hrs, but very easy driving.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend The Staffler.

Fifth visit to the Staffler, this time with a gang of 40 somethings who probably ought to act their age - equally as good as before.

Simple good clean accomodation in a great location with good food. Top value for money.

Going back with the family early March & can't wait.
