I AM WRITING THIS AGAIN, SINCE MY LAST REVIEW ENDED UP FILED WITH THE LOWEST OVERALL RATING - WHICH WAS DEFINITELY NOT INTENDED!!! THIS PLACE IS A WINNER!
We are a rather hard-travelled family and therefore pretty picky vacationers, but we simply love this place. Loved it before we had our baby and appreciate it even more now. It is nice and practical for enthusiastic skiers like us as well as warm and cosy for the more leisurely holidaying. The location in the centre of Zell am See and just accross the street from the City Express ski lift station is perfect for both families or those who wish to go out every night. Plus the Bindels are truly nice and kind people, taking very attentive care of both their guests and property. We have just come back from our fourth stay at theirs and are already planning another. It is definitely worth trying!

Haus Wilhelmina was a very nice experience for our skiing holiday. Clean, calm, comfortable and with an ideal situation (only 30 to 50 meters from the CityXpress gondola skilift and about 200 meters from the town centre), so in just a couple of minutes we were on our way up the mountain Schmittenhöhe or "downtown" in the afternoon and evenings.

The owners is a very nice couple (Maria from Sweden, as we are, and native austrian Helli). So we had the perfect opportunity to get our information also in swedish.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It's not luxury standard of course but we couldn't (and can't) complain about anything. Bed linens and towels were provided by the hotel and even the cupboard bed in the combined livingroom/kitchen was very solid and comfortable, just as the standard beds in the bedroom.

For an extra fee we got our breakfast from Haus Wilhelmina and it was tasty and fresh every morning.

So, all-in-all, I REALLY have to recommend Haus Wilhelmina. It should be a very nice stay also for a summer vacation in Zell am See.

Love Zell and have sometimes to stay at other hotels, pensions etc but Wilhelmina just outdo everything else, even compared to the luxury places in Zell - Wilhelmina is simply the best, most serviceminded, spacy and very clean rooms and apartments, fantastic breakfast, best situation close to everything and so good! Thanks a lot!

Clean and comfortable room (we had a family room), friendly owners.
Easy to walk to the center.

We appreciated the fridge on the hall where we could buy something to drink. It was very nice that there were even wine glasses there.

Breakfast was good, the same every day. We missed fresh vegetables and eggs but I understand this is typical Austrian breakfast.

Zell am See card is offerred sand it is a very good idea.
